Samsung Galaxy S22 Series will come with a glass-coated body

Samsung is rumored to be announcing the presence of its newest Android phone, the Galaxy S22 series, at the Galaxy Unpacked event in January 2022.

Ahead of the event, well-known leaker @UniverseIce revealed the latest information about the appearance of the Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra.

According to the Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) tweet, Tuesday (12/21/2021), the rear bodies of the three variants of the latest Samsung cellphones will use glass instead of plastic.

It is known, Samsung is trying to cut the price of the previous Galaxy S series by using plastic material for the Galaxy S21. While the Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra both use Gorilla Glass Victus.

On the other hand, recently leaked information about the shape of the Galaxy S22 Ultra had become the talk of netizens. It is said that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will experience the biggest changes compared to the other two Galaxy S22 series.

The most obvious changes are the S Pen slot and a new design for the main camera layout.

Named “waterdrop”, this new render image shows the main camera of the Galaxy S22 Ultra having the shape of the letter “P”.

A new render from LetsGoDigital and Technizo Concept shows the Galaxy S22 Ultra not showing a module for the smartphone lens holder.

According LetsGoDigital and Technizo Concept via Gizchina, Tuesday (19/10/2021), will make a hole in the back of the phone to place the camera – without a module or frame like in the Galaxy S21.

The rendering is based on information from a Korean leaker, Super Roader.
