Samsung Electronics is preparing to expand its mid-range smartphone portfolio, with new regulatory certifications indicating that successors to last year’s Galaxy A36 and A56 could launch soon.

Listings from Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) show that the upcoming Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 have received approval under model numbers SM-A376B/DS and SM-A576B/DS, respectively. The filings do not disclose specifications but suggest that a broader international rollout may be imminent. The Galaxy A57 had previously appeared in China’s TENAA certification database.

Benchmark data from Geekbench indicate that the Galaxy A37 will likely be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1480 processor, marking a shift from the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset used in the Galaxy A36. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A57 is expected to feature the Exynos 1680, with performance estimates pointing to roughly a 12% improvement in multi-core processing over the Galaxy A56.

Market speculation suggests both devices could carry 5,000mAh batteries and support 45W fast charging, aligning them with features increasingly common in the competitive mid-range segment. Samsung has not officially confirmed the specifications or launch timeline.

Separately, the company is scheduled to host a Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25, where it is widely expected to introduce its flagship Galaxy S26 lineup. While the new A-series models are not anticipated to debut at the same event, industry reports suggest they could be unveiled in March.
