Shelly has quietly introduced a new smart home control panel in Europe, expanding its product lineup with the Wall Display X2i, according to information published on the company’s website. The device follows the release of the Wall Display X2 earlier this year and appears to target users looking for a centralized way to manage connected home devices.
The Wall Display X2i features a 6.95-inch color touchscreen with a 1440-by-720-pixel resolution that can be mounted horizontally or vertically. It allows users to control compatible smart home products and view energy consumption data when paired with supported Shelly PM devices, while a built-in gesture sensor enables touchless interaction and a light sensor adjusts screen brightness automatically.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi 6. Internally, Shelly has replaced the processor used in the previous model with a Rockchip RK3326-S quad-core Cortex-A35 chip clocked at up to 1.5 GHz, offering updated hardware while keeping the overall design largely unchanged.
“The Wall Display X2i is designed to give users a centralized and intuitive way to control and monitor their smart home,” Shelly said in the product description, adding that it can be used to manage devices and energy data from a single interface. The panel also includes an interchangeable power base, a built-in 0.8-watt speaker and compatibility with the Shelly Smart Control app and Home Assistant.
