Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi G34WQ 2026, a new ultrawide curved gaming monitor aimed at cost-conscious gamers. The display, launched in China for roughly $197, features a 34-inch curved panel and a 180Hz refresh rate. The company has not yet announced plans for a global release, though its previous international launches suggest one may follow.
The monitor’s 1,500R curvature is designed to enhance visual immersion and comfort during extended use. It delivers a resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 with a 21:9 aspect ratio, providing a wider field of view suited for gaming and multitasking. Xiaomi stated that the model targets users seeking an affordable option that still provides “professional-level gaming smoothness and precision.”
While the G34WQ 2026 does not use mini-LED or OLED technology, its VA panel offers a typical brightness of 400 nits and a 3,500:1 contrast ratio. The monitor supports AMD FreeSync for reduced screen tearing and stutter during gameplay. A 1ms gray-to-gray response time complements the 180Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth performance in fast-paced gaming scenarios.
Connectivity includes two DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0 inputs, giving flexibility for use with multiple devices such as PCs and gaming consoles. The rear of the monitor features a ring of customizable RGB lighting, adding a visual accent popular among gaming setups.
Xiaomi’s latest entry into the gaming display segment reinforces its growing presence in the PC accessory market. The company continues to focus on combining competitive specifications with affordability, appealing to mainstream consumers seeking high-performance equipment without premium pricing.
