Xiaomi has introduced an updated version of its budget-focused office display, the 2K Monitor A27Qi 2026, ahead of a planned worldwide rollout. The monitor succeeds the earlier A27Qi model, which reached Europe in April and featured a 27-inch IPS panel with a 1440p resolution and 100 Hz refresh rate. The original article described the new edition as containing “several upgrades,” positioning it as a stronger offering in the lower-cost productivity segment.

According to Xiaomi, the 2026 model improves colour performance, raising accuracy from the previous ΔE<2 rating to ΔE<1, a level the company characterises as professional-grade. The monitor continues to offer full sRGB coverage and 95% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The press information suggested that this level of precision is intended to appeal to users requiring consistent colour reproduction for office or creative workflows.

Other enhancements include a higher contrast ratio of 1,300:1, which Xiaomi said represents an improvement of roughly one-third over the previous generation. The refresh rate has also been increased by 25%, rising to 120 Hz while retaining the same 1440p resolution and 6 ms grey-to-grey response time. However, the display’s peak brightness remains at 300 nits, a limitation that rules out meaningful HDR support. The article noted this constraint but highlighted that the company emphasised improvements in other core specifications.

The monitor includes standard connectivity options, such as DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0, as well as support for 75 x 75 mm wall mounting and an adjustable stand. These features are intended to improve flexibility for office environments. The original article reported that the 2K Monitor A27Qi 2026 has already appeared on Xiaomi’s global website, signalling the company’s intention for a broader release.

Xiaomi has not yet disclosed pricing details for the new model. Its predecessor currently retails for around US$184, and analysts expect the updated version to remain positioned in the affordable monitor segment while offering incremental improvements in accuracy and performance.
