Zepp Health has confirmed that the Amazfit GTS 4 smartwatch will soon receive an upgrade to Zepp OS 3.5, as indicated by recent communications from the Zepp OS X account.
The update, slated for release in August via over-the-air distribution, follows speculation and hints from earlier announcements by the company.
Initial discussions about the update surfaced in June, with Zepp Health responding to user inquiries on social media platforms. The latest confirmation emerged during interactions on the Zepp OS X account’s post celebrating Independence Day, where the company addressed user queries regarding the upcoming software update for the GTS 4.

Zepp OS 3.5 introduces several enhancements previously rolled out to other Amazfit smartwatches, including the Zepp Flow AI assistant, expanded sports modes, support for offline maps, and additional mini apps.
Meanwhile, Zepp Health has already commenced the rollout of Zepp OS 4.0 to various models like Active, Balance, Cheetah, Falcon, and T-Rex, featuring advanced voice control capabilities integrated with OpenAI’s GPT-4o.
