Garmin has officially launched the Venu 4 smartwatch, building on its predecessor with new health monitoring functions, personalized coaching tools and accessibility features. The release follows a string of leaks ahead of its debut.
The Venu 4 retains the slim, round metal casing of the Venu 3, which was introduced in 2023, and comes in two sizes — 41 mm with a 1.2-inch AMOLED display and 45 mm with a 1.4-inch AMOLED screen. It will be available in multiple colorways with both silicone and leather strap options.
Among its additions are advanced sleep metrics with personalized recommendations, a lifestyle log in the Garmin Connect app, and Health Status, a feature that compares recent biometric data with personal averages to help users spot early signs of illness. “Health Status helps users understand how recent data compares to their average, potentially indicating illness,” Garmin said in the announcement.
The watch also offers expanded fitness guidance with daily workout suggestions for more than 25 activities, including walking and indoor cycling. Accessibility updates include spoken watch face information, color filters for color blindness, and an on-watch keyboard for text replies. Core functions such as the ECG app, microphone, speaker, flashlight, Garmin Pay and up to 12 days of battery life remain.
The Venu 4 will be available globally from September 22. In the United States, the 41 mm and 45 mm models with silicone straps are priced at $549.99, while versions with leather straps are set at $599.99. That marks a $100 increase from the launch price of the Venu 3.
