Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will launch on PC on March 19, publisher Kojima Productions said, outlining system requirements and graphical enhancements ahead of the release.

The game, which previously debuted on PlayStation 5, was described by its developers as an award-winning graphical showcase featuring detailed environments and photorealistic characters. In a statement shared on behalf of Kojima Productions and porting studio Nixxes Software, the companies said they aim to deliver “a smooth experience with the best possible visuals on a wide variety of hardware.”

The PC version will include graphics presets ranging from Low to Very High, as well as a Portable preset designed for handheld gaming devices. Developers also confirmed support at launch for NVIDIA DLSS 4, AMD FSR 4 and Intel XESS 2, with both upscaling and frame generation options available. For the first time on PC, the title will feature Pico, described as a “Progressive Image Compositor” developed by Guerrilla for the Decima engine and previously used on the PlayStation 5 edition.

The game will support ultrawide aspect ratios, including 21:9 for cutscenes and up to 32:9 during gameplay. Players using standard 16:9 monitors will also be able to enable wider aspect ratios through display settings. An update adding 21:9 support to the PlayStation 5 version is scheduled to coincide with the PC release.

Kojima Productions said the PC version is available for pre-purchase on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The studio added that previously announced in-game cosmetic items inspired by the PlayStation logo will be distributed to PlayStation 5 players via update and offered to PC users who link their accounts.
