Tranquil IT has introduced its latest innovation in mini PCs with the All Terrain series, designed to withstand harsh outdoor conditions while offering enhanced performance capabilities.
The new models feature a rugged aluminium chassis, crafted through in-house designs and milling, ensuring durability and protection against dust, water, and extreme temperatures ranging from -10º C to 60º C.
Unlike traditional mini PCs, the All Terrain series from Tranquil IT operates without active ventilation, making them suitable for environments where airflow is restricted. This includes industrial settings and outdoor deployments where reliability and autonomy are crucial.
Measuring at 60 x 208 x 263 mm and weighing 3.4 kg, these mini PCs are larger than typical fanless models, allowing for integration of more powerful components such as Intel’s Alder Lake-U processors. Customers can choose from options like the i3-1210U, i5-1235U, and i7-1255U processors, paired with up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and up to 8 TB of SATA3 SSD storage.
In terms of connectivity, the All Terrain mini PCs offer 2x USB-A 3.0 ports, 2x GbE jacks, DP and HDMI video outputs, as well as separate audio and microphone jacks. Additional features include a SIM slot for optional 4G connectivity and support for Wi-Fi 6E + BT 5.3 cards. Security is bolstered with an fTPM2 module, ensuring data encryption.
Tranquil IT also includes an IP68 Buccaneer 4000 power socket with an IP66 power cord, further enhancing the durability and reliability of these rugged mini PCs.
