Alldocube has added a new device to its tablet portfolio with the introduction of the iPlay 70 Max Pro, a mid-range model that has debuted in Japan at JPY 29,999, or roughly US$191. The company described the tablet as an affordable option offering a high-resolution display, 5G connectivity and expandable storage. “It’s an affordable offering,” Alldocube said in its announcement.

The tablet is powered by the Unisoc S715, an eight-core processor that the company claims can achieve an AnTuTu benchmark score of 650,000. Alldocube said this places the chip in the same performance bracket as MediaTek’s Dimensity 1080, used in devices such as Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 12 Pro. The chipset incorporates a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU and is paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded with a microSD card up to 512 GB.

The iPlay 70 Max Pro features a 13-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1600×2560 pixels. According to the company, the panel offers “rich colors” and includes Widevine L1 certification, enabling high-resolution streaming across major platforms. An eight-speaker audio system aims to enhance the device’s media capabilities.

Alldocube said the tablet also supports productivity features through its desktop mode, a Pogo Pin connector for an optional keyboard and compatibility with USI 2.0 active stylus pens. The device includes an 8-megapixel front camera, a 13-megapixel rear camera, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-SIM 5G standby.

A 10,000 mAh battery with 33 W fast charging rounds out the hardware specifications. While the model has launched in Japan, Alldocube has not yet provided details on global availability, saying only that the iPlay 70 Max Pro “should make an international debut soon.”
