Motorola will launch its Edge 70 smartphone in India on Dec. 15, the company confirmed, positioning the ultra-slim device as a new contender in the midrange segment. The phone will be offered in three Pantone-curated colours — bronze green, gadget gray and lily pad — and will be available through Motorola’s website, Flipkart and authorised retail partners. The company has not disclosed pricing.
According to details published ahead of the launch, the Edge 70 measures 5.99 mm in thickness and is expected to compete with devices such as Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge and Tecno’s slim-profile smartphones. The handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and will ship with Android 16 running Motorola’s Hello UI. Motorola says it will provide three major Android updates and four years of security patches, with support extending to 2031.

Camera specifications include dual 50 MP sensors on the rear and a third 50 MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The handset also carries MIL-STD-810H durability certification and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for added protection against drops and scratches.
