POCO officially presents its newest mobile phone POCO M4 5G which has a chipset made by MediaTek, the Dimensity 700. This phone itself is an affordable version of the POCO M4 Pro 5G.
The POCO M4 5G is said to be getting MIUI 13 based on Android 12 and comes in two memory and storage configurations of 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB.
The phone also has a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 512GB.
With a screen area of 6.58 inches with a refresh rate of 90Hz, this phone has a FullHD+ LCD display panel that is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
This display panel interestingly supports adaptive refresh rates, which means it can switch between 30Hz, 60Hz, and 90Hz depending on the type of content.
On the back of the POCO M4 5G, POCO presents a unique “Hypnotic Swirl Design” design which appears to be equipped with two cameras consisting of a 50MP main unit and a 2MP depth camera.
The fingerprint sensor is located on the side of the phone, but it also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and high-resolution audio certification. On the power front, the phone is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery and 18W fast charging.
The POCO M4 5G is offered in three colors and will be available for purchase in India from 5 May via online purchase.
