Core Devices has launched a new smartwatch inspired by the Pebble Time Round, marking the latest expansion of the revived Pebble brand as the company enters 2026 with a focus on minimalist wearables.
The new Pebble Round 2 retains the thin and lightweight design of its predecessor while adding a larger 1.3-inch color ePaper display with higher resolution and improved viewing angles. The watch supports both touch input and physical buttons and is housed in an 8.1 mm stainless steel case.

Unlike many modern smartwatches, the Pebble Round 2 limits its health features to basic pedometer and sleep tracking, omitting heart rate and advanced fitness sensors. It includes microphones for voice interactions and messaging, along with motion and navigation sensors, but does not support phone calls.
Core Devices said the battery life has been extended to up to two weeks, a major improvement over the original model’s endurance, while maintaining compatibility with both Android and iOS devices and water resistance rated to 30 metres.

The company described the Pebble Round 2 as a “spiritual successor to the Pebble Time Round,” positioning it as a simple companion device rather than a full-featured fitness watch. The device is available for pre-order at $199 and is expected to ship in May 2026.
