Garmin introduced a new smartwatch called Garmin Venu 2 Plus. One of the new features that excel in this smartwatch is being able to receive phone calls and use voice assistants on smartphones.
A new feature on the Garmin Venu 2 Plus is making and receiving phone calls with the push of a button. As for Voice assistant control or voice assistant, this watch is compatible with Siri assistant (Apple), Google Assistant, to Bixby.
The Garmin Venu 2 Plus is available in three versatile color options with a 43mm watch case, stainless steel bezel and device, as well as a comfortable and easy-to-wear 20mm silicone band that fits industry standards.
Users can mix and match the band and bezel for a look tailored to Your Watch Your Way. Then the watch screen is AMOLED type and coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
For health functions, the Garmin Venu 2 Plus features a user-configurable heart rate sensor in high or low readings, a sleep monitoring program with sleep scores and additional information by Firstbeat AnalyticsTM, respiratory activity, fitness age, breathing, Pulse Ox, stress levels throughout days, hydration, and menstrual cycle tracking to pregnancy tracking for women.
Body Battery energy monitoring lets users know how fully energy their body is being charged, as well as the energy depleted effects of stress and exercise.
Then there’s Health Snapshot which records important health statistics every two minutes and generates reports that users can share with healthcare providers.
For sports features, Garmin Venu 2 Plus provides more than 25 built-in applications for indoor sports and GPS that matches your favorite activities such as walking, running, High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), cycling, swimming in the pool, pilates, yoga, climbing. indoor cliffs, climbing, strength training with muscle maps and more.
This exercise can also be viewed from the Garmin Connect application on smartphones. In addition, users can create exercise schedules that suit their needs through more than 1,400 exercise patterns.
Venu 2 Plus has over 75 workout animations for cardio, yoga, strength, HIIT, and pilates. It demonstrates proper posture and technique via Garmin Connect right from the wrist.
In addition to being able to make instant phone calls without the need for a cell phone, the Garmin Venu 2 Plus includes security and tracking features such as automatic incident detection when walking outdoors, running or cycling, to manual incident detection requests. Both will send a message along with the user’s location to their emergency contacts.
LiveTrack allows friends and family to track a user’s outdoor activities. Then the user can enter an emergency contact so that the Venu 2 Plus can be contacted, such as local emergency services.
Other features on the Garmin Venu 2 Plus include a built-in music app that can download up to 650 songs including playlists from Spotify, Amazon Music, and Deezer, smart notifications for calls, messages, calendar reminders, social media updates, breaking news, and more.
Users can also personalize the Venu 2 Plus on apps, watch faces, and other features available and downloadable through the Connect IQTM store. The Venu 2 Plus can be used with Android or Apple smartphones.
The Garmin Venu 2 Plus has a battery that can last up to nine days in smartwatch mode and up to eight hours in GPS + Music mode. Fast battery recharging in 10 minutes gives up to a day of smartwatch mode battery life or an hour of GPS + music battery life.
