The Moto G22 comes with a fresh design and offers a high refresh rate screen, quad-camera setup, and a high-capacity battery.
In terms of design, the Moto G22 has a camera module on the back which is a rounded rectangle, while the camera itself is circular. However, one of these cameras and an LED flashlight are located in one module. Furthermore, there is the ‘Motorola Batwing’ logo in the middle and the ‘Motorola’ branding at the bottom.
This phone has a 6.5-inch LCD display panel with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels or HD +, and a fairly high refresh rate at 90 Hz. This screen panel has a punch-hole in the middle and a 20:9 aspect ratio.
The processor uses a MediaTek Helio G37 which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The operating system runs on Android 12 with Material You and My UX features. With this, Motorola promises three years of security updates.
There is a quad-camera setup on the back of the phone. This system includes a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, a 2 MP macro camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor. While on the front, there is a 16 MP resolution camera for selfies and video calls.
On the connectivity front, this phone offers dual-SIM, 4G, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GNSS. The phone is also equipped with a 3.5mm earphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and a MicroSD card slot.
Other features of the device include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a single speaker, a notification LED, and a waterproof coating. The battery capacity of the Moto G22 is 5,000 mAh with support for 20W fast charging.
