FOSSiBOT has introduced the F113, its latest rugged smartphone designed for harsh environments and outdoor operations. The company positions the device as a specialised tool for field workers, rescue teams and night-operation users who require durability and visibility in low-light conditions. The handset integrates features commonly seen in industrial-grade gear rather than mainstream consumer phones.

The F113 includes what the company calls the world’s first 50-metre ultra-long-distance infrared night vision system. It combines a 64-megapixel autofocus night-vision camera with a customised IR optical structure intended to deliver clarity in complete darkness, extending beyond the 5–10 metre range typical in rugged handsets. The launch announcement stated that the phone “redefines all-terrain smartphone capability for outdoor adventurers, field professionals, and night-operation workers.”

Other features include a long-range 1.5-watt flashlight rated to illuminate targets at 50 metres and a 20,000 mAh non-removable battery with 18-watt reverse charging for powering external devices on the move. The device supports IP68 waterproofing and drop protection, Corning Gorilla Glass display reinforcement, and glove-mode functionality for cold or industrial conditions. A 1134 BOX speaker with a K-class amplifier is rated at up to 110 dB for high-volume audio output.

The phone is equipped with a 6.78-inch FHD+ 120 Hz display and runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7050 chipset, supporting 5G connectivity. Internal memory includes 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, expandable by virtual RAM up to 36 GB and external storage up to 2 TB. A multi-colour rear breathing light is designed to support customisable notification and alert patterns.

FOSSiBOT has set a limited-time launch price of USD 279, reduced from a listed USD 399.99, until December 3. The company has not announced regional release information but is positioning the model for global markets where rugged smartphones have seen increasing adoption among industrial users, logistics workers and outdoor professionals.
