Garmin has begun rolling out a new stable software update to a limited group of its smartwatch users, marking the company’s first stable release of 2026 for several consumer devices.
Software version 15.52 is being distributed in phases to the Venu X1, Venu 4 and vivoactive 6 smartwatches, according to posts by a Garmin representative on the company’s official user forum. The update follows the earlier stable release of version 15.33, issued about a month earlier, which addressed a Bluetooth music issue.

Garmin said the latest update includes internal adjustments as well as general refinements. In the release notes shared on the forum, the company said the update includes “changes to support manufacturing,” without providing further details. The statement suggested the changes are unlikely to have a noticeable impact on how the devices function for users.
The update also includes unspecified “other minor improvements and bug fixes,” Garmin said, though it does not resolve all known issues. Users of the vivoactive 6 have continued to report problems with the display not behaving as expected, while some Venu 4 owners say connectivity issues with the Schwinn IC4 spin bike remain unresolved.

Garmin said software version 15.52 is currently available to around 20% of users of the three smartwatch models. The update is designed to be delivered automatically, though users can also install it manually through the device settings menu.
