Garmin is reportedly preparing to launch a new feature called the Garmin Connect Rundown, an annual summary designed to give users a detailed look at their fitness and health achievements over the past year. The feature is expected to appear within the company’s mobile and web-based Garmin Connect platform.
According to a report from the5krunner, citing a regular source known as John W, the Garmin Connect Rundown will compile users’ activity data into an interactive report that highlights their performance milestones. The feature is said to function as Garmin’s own version of the annual recaps offered by other tech platforms such as Spotify.

The Rundown will reportedly include detailed statistics across various fitness activities — such as fastest 5K or marathon times for runners, personal bests in weightlifting, or performance metrics for parathletes. It may also translate achievements into creative comparisons, such as total distance equating to the length of an airport runway or total elevation matching the height of iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower. Garmin said the feature aims to make the data “informative and entertaining” for users.
In addition to workout summaries, the Rundown will incorporate wellness data including Sleep Score and Body Battery trends, offering visualized charts that track users’ progress month by month. The feature is also expected to include tools for sharing highlights with friends or on social media platforms.
While Garmin has not officially announced a release date, the report suggests that the Connect Rundown could arrive later in 2025 or early 2026. It is expected to be available for users across the company’s smartwatch lineup, including models such as the vivoactive 6.
