Garmin has released a new beta update for its Venu X1 smartwatch, expanding support for one of its latest high-end models with a small round of changes.
The update, labeled Beta 15.05, is the first in the company’s 15.xx development cycle. According to Garmin’s changelog, the release includes “various bug fixes and improvements” along with three new watch faces.
The Venu X1, launched in June and priced at $699.99 on Amazon, stands apart from the broader Venu line for its design and feature set. While Software Version 12.74 remains the most recent stable update, the company has now shifted development toward its beta program for the model.
Unlike earlier beta cycles, which often introduced multiple new features, the latest release offers only limited additions. Users enrolled in Garmin’s Beta Program will need to manually download the update to their devices.
Garmin has stepped up its software rollout pace in recent months, delivering updates across its flagship and entry-level ranges, including the Fenix 8 Pro and the Garmin Bounce.
Further details on enrollment and installation are available through Garmin’s official forum.
