HP has unveiled the Series 5 Pro (514pn), a 14.36-inch mobile monitor that the company says is the world’s first to feature Neo:LED display technology. The new model targets creative professionals and mobile users seeking a balance of portability, image accuracy, and durability.

According to HP, “Neo:LED combines an IPS black panel, which achieves a native contrast ratio of 2,000:1, with special LED backlighting designed to improve colour reproduction.” The display supports full coverage of both the DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB color gamuts, with a maximum brightness of 400 nits and a 75 Hz refresh rate.

Encased in a metal body measuring 8.8 millimeters thick and weighing 630 grams, the monitor features a matte finish and a fold-out kickstand for flexible viewing angles. Power and connectivity are handled via dual USB-C ports, allowing the device to draw power from a connected laptop or supply up to 65 watts of charging.

The Series 5 Pro does not include an internal battery, a design choice intended to keep the unit lightweight and slim.

HP said the display will be available soon with a recommended retail price of $249, expanding its range of portable productivity solutions for on-the-go professionals.
