    LG UltraGear 17G90Q, First Gaming Laptop from LG

    LG announced its first gaming laptop, the LG UltraGear 17G90Q. This is a premium notebook with high-end specifications. This laptop delivers high-end performance in an ultra-slim design, and has been awarded the 2022 CES Innovation award.

    The LG 17G90Q comes with a 17.3-inch 1920×1080 resolution IPS LCD panel. This screen has a refresh rate of 300Hz with a response time of 1 ms and 99% sRGB color coverage.

    This laptop uses an 11th Generation Intel Tiger Lake H series processor, with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q GPU. Users can choose memory options, namely DDR4 16 or 32GB and M.2 NVMe storage up to 1TB.

    The LG 17G90Q has a pretty futuristic design, with a mix of purple and dark gray colors and measures 21.4 mm at its thickest point. It weighs 2.64kg, with a battery capacity of 93Wh.

    For available connectivity, including 1x USB 4 Gen 3×2 Type-C with USB-PD and Thunderbolt 4, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 Type-C, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2×1, headphone out, HDMI, Ethernet , microSD slot, and DC-in power.

    Other available features include a fingerprint reader on the power button, FHD webcam with dual microphones and IR camera for Windows Hello, Wi-Fi 6 with Intel Killer Wireless, stereo speakers with DTS X Ultra, vapor chamber cooling system, and UltraGear Studio software. to control system performance, fan speed, and per-key RGB lighting.

    The LG UltraGear 17G90Q will initially be available in the US and South Korea from early 2022. No pricing information has been announced yet. Later, the new LG will reveal it in more detail at CES 2022.
