The HiSense D50 5G is the latest tough smartphone to finally hit the market. In recent times, the gadget market has been flooded with 5G compatible devices. But only a few of them we can be proud of as powerful devices.

In this regard, Chinese electronics manufacturer HiSense has launched the powerful D50 5G smartphone. The smartphone features a thermal camera aimed at those working in extreme conditions such as law enforcement.

The HiSense D50 5G is one of the smartphones that offers a high level of toughness and durability standard with IP69 dust and water resistance. In addition, this device also has 6-sided armor protection capabilities providing shock resistance.

This smartphone will come in two storage configurations namely 64 GB and 256 GB. The back panel of the phone has a fingerprint sensor as well as two front-facing cameras.

HiSense D50 5G Specifications

This smartphone comes with a net weight of 263 grams and measures 173.8mm × 81mm × 12.4mm. The screen panel has a 6.53-inch screen with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 with a waterdrop camera design in the middle of the screen. Users will be able to use the HiSense D50 5G for all kinds of outdoor activities.

There's also support for a 2.0GHz octa-core UNISOC T7510 processor under the hood. The HP HiSense D50 5G is available in three RAM variants – 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB – and will come with 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB of internal storage with tenAA certification. In photography, this device has four rear cameras.

The four cameras include a 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP infrared camera that provides users with thermal imaging capabilities.

As for the software front, the phone runs Android 9 out of the box. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone. HiSense offers the device in two battery configurations namely, a large 5010mAh and 6100mAh, each of which gains support for 18W fast charging.

The HiSense D50 meets the requirements of the American military standard MIL-STD-810G, as well as a protection rating of IP69K. The smartphone is protected according to IP68 class requirements, so it can withstand immersion up to 1.5 m for half an hour.

According to the IP69K protection class description, this smartphone is very suitable to be able to work under high temperature washing under the influence of high water pressure.

At the same time, the device is also resistant to scratches and impacts. The HiSense D50 5G can withstand a 1.5m drop on a hard surface. The powerful HiSense D50 5G smartphone comes with a bid price of 3,980 yuan or around US$617 for the 6GB+128GB model in the Chinese market.
