Slowly but surely improving themselves, the journey to the process of repairing Cyberpunk 2077 to the action RPG that CD Projekt Red has been dreaming of is still long. Nonetheless, at least there seems to be a consistent effort to not only improve, but also start to improve the existing experience through the injection of new features or even adjustments to the mechanics of existing ones.
This is what I want to push through the 1.5 update that was just released for Cyberpunk 2077. Oh, it turns out, this update also increases the existing minimum specification requirements.
There are two things that have changed from the Cyberpunk 2077 minimum specification requirement on PC after the 1.5 update. First, it no longer lists Windows 7 but Windows 10 as a minimal requirement. Second from the graphics business? They moved from NVIDIA 700 Series to GTX 970 as graphics minimum.

CDPR confirms that this doesn’t mean PCs with Win 7 or NVIDIA 700 Series can no longer play these games, just that they will no longer test their games and patches on both lines. Currently, the minimum PC requirements for Cyberpunk 2077 are as follows:
Minimum PC requirements for Cyberpunk 2077
- OS: Windows 10
- Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K or AMD FX-8310
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 470
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 70 GB available space
