OnePlus has opened international pre-orders for the Watch Lite, positioning the new device as a more affordable alternative to its Watch 3 while expanding compatibility to both Android and iOS users.
The Watch Lite does not run Google’s Wear OS, instead relying on OnePlus’ proprietary software, which allows it to work with smartphones running Android 9.0 or later and iOS 14.0 or newer. OnePlus is targeting customers seeking a slimmer design and longer battery life at a lower price point than its existing smartwatch lineup.

The company said the Watch Lite features a 1.46-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 464 by 464 pixels and peak brightness of 3,000 nits, housed in a 316L stainless steel case. At 8.9 mm thick, the watch is significantly slimmer than the Watch 3, and weighs 59 grams including its fluororubber strap.
Other features include dual-band GPS, more than 100 workout modes and health tracking capabilities covering metrics such as skin temperature. OnePlus said the device can deliver up to 10 days of battery life on a single charge, though it does not support NFC payments.

In announcing the launch, OnePlus highlighted that the smartwatch offers “over 100 built-in workout modes,” but said it does not currently plan to sell the model in markets such as the United States or India.
