A compact, keychain-sized portable charger designed for Garmin smartwatches has entered the European and UK markets, aiming to make charging easier for users while traveling or on short trips without access to power outlets.
The charger, developed by Phelinta, integrates a 1,200 mAh battery into a small device weighing 44 grams and measuring 5 x 5 x 2 centimeters. Using Garmin’s proprietary charging connector, it can deliver up to 6 watts of power and fully charge compatible smartwatches in roughly one to three hours, depending on the model.

The device is compatible with more than 60 Garmin smartwatch models across multiple product lines, including Forerunner, Fenix, Instinct, Venu, Tactix and Quatix. According to the product description, the charger is designed to be carried on a key ring or in a backpack, allowing users to recharge their watches without “having to unplug the charger at home or search for a suitable USB connector when on the go.”
Once its internal battery is depleted, the charger itself can be recharged via a USB-C cable. The integrated battery is intended to provide a full smartwatch charge, offering a practical option for short trips or emergency top-ups when wall power is unavailable.
