Samsung Electronics has unveiled details of a new high-end gaming monitor that combines a 6K display with glasses-free 3D viewing, positioning the product as one of the most technically ambitious monitors it has announced to date, ahead of its formal debut at CES 2026.
The Odyssey G90XH, the successor to the Odyssey 3D G90FX, increases screen size from 27 inches to 32 inches and boosts resolution from 4K to 6K, matching the pixel count used in Apple’s Pro Display XDR. Samsung said the monitor will support a native refresh rate of 165 hertz, with a “Dual Mode” option that can raise the frame rate to 330 hertz by reducing resolution.

A key feature of the new model is its ability to display 3D content without the need for special glasses. The system relies on a built-in camera and eye-tracking technology to align the 3D image with a single viewer’s field of vision, allowing the effect to remain visible even when viewed slightly off-centre.
Samsung said it is working with game developers to tailor content for the 3D display, with supported titles including The First Berserker: Khazan, Lies of P: Overture and Stellar Blade. The company described the technology as a step toward more immersive gaming experiences on desktop displays.

“This approach allows for a convincing 3D representation without glasses by precisely adjusting the image to the user’s field of view,” Samsung said in material released ahead of the launch.
Further details on pricing, availability and full technical specifications are expected to be announced when Samsung formally presents the Odyssey G90XH at CES 2026 in early January.
