A new video game titled Barkour, developed by Varsav Game Studios, is set to arrive on Steam later this year and is being showcased at the Tokyo Game Show 2025.
The game puts players in control of Agent T.H.U.N.D.E.R., a German Shepherd equipped with parkour abilities, high-tech gadgets and stealth skills. A newly released trailer highlights tools such as a stealth cloak, stun mines and a freeze gun, alongside stealth takedowns designed to emphasize covert action gameplay.
According to the developers, the canine hero is portrayed as “a tail-wagging canine with a knack for parkour, gadgets and barking at villains.”
Barkour can be added to wishlists now and is slated for release in 2025, though no specific launch date has been announced. A public demo will be available on Steam beginning October 2, following its first playable showcase at the Tokyo Game Show, which runs from Sept. 25–28.
Varsav Game Studios is also working on another project, The Path of Clydra, a 3D fantasy adventure platformer with no confirmed release window.
