TikTok is adding a new integration that lets Amazon Music subscribers share tracks and other content directly to the social platform. The company told TechCrunch that the update introduces a “Share to TikTok” button, enabling users to post songs, albums, playlists and listening highlights from Amazon Music.
The feature builds on Amazon Music Insights, a recently launched personalized analytics tool that shows listeners detailed summaries of their habits, including top artists, songs and overall listening time. Amazon Music users can now share these Insights summaries to TikTok, with the company noting the addition gives people a simple way to post their “Monthly Recaps” and other engagement statistics.
TikTok already supports similar sharing functions for Spotify and Apple Music. The new partnership extends an existing link between TikTok and Amazon Music through the “Add to Music App” feature, which allows users to save songs discovered on TikTok directly to Amazon’s streaming service. TikTok said the update “builds on its current partnership with Amazon Music,” reflecting ongoing efforts to connect its music-driven trends with streaming platforms.
The move aligns with TikTok’s influence over global music discovery, where viral clips often boost songs onto streaming charts. By adding Amazon Music to its roster of integrated services, TikTok increases the range of sources users can leverage to share music and artist-related content.
With the new feature available, Amazon Music subscribers gain another outlet for posting their listening activity, while TikTok strengthens its role at the intersection of social media engagement and music streaming.
