Xiaomi has expanded sales of its Electric Scooter 5 Plus in Europe, with the model now available in France and Italy following its UK release in late August. The e-scooter joins the existing Electric Scooter 5, 5 Pro and 5 Max models already sold in the region.

The Electric Scooter 5 Plus is priced at €549.99 in France and Italy, positioning it €140 higher than the base Electric Scooter 5 and €40 more than the 5 Pro, but €60 less than the flagship 5 Max. In France, Xiaomi is offering a 10% discount, reducing the cost to €494.99.

The scooter is equipped with a 400W motor, peaking at 900W, and can reach speeds of up to 25 kph (16 mph). It supports three riding modes—Pedestrian, Standard and Sport—and is powered by a 477.4 Wh battery enabling a range of up to 60 km (37 miles) on a single charge. “Its 12-inch tubeless tires and front shock absorber provide additional comfort,” Xiaomi said in the product description.

Compared with other models in the series, the 5 Plus features taller handlebars and a wider deck designed to improve ride stability. It also includes traction control, dual braking, integrated smart lights and Bluetooth connectivity for app-based management. The foldable scooter weighs 26.6 kg (58.6 lbs).

It remains unclear when the 5 Plus will launch in other European markets such as Spain, the Netherlands and Germany.
