Garmin has released Beta Version 15.25 for its high-end smartwatch lineup, including the Fenix 8, Enduro 3, Fenix E, and Tactix 8, introducing another dozen fixes and enhancements as the company prepares its upcoming v15.xx stable software release.

The latest update comes just days after Garmin pushed a stable build that notably excluded many of the features and bug fixes being tested through its Beta Program.

Since Beta Version 15.24 launched last week with around 20 tweaks, the total number of changes from the last stable build now exceeds 160.

According to Garmin, the future v15.xx firmware will incorporate at least 167 major revisions, including 22 new features, 18 refinements, and 127 bug fixes. Despite these additions, key features such as Aviation, Dive, and ECG remain disabled in Beta 15.25, suggesting that more beta releases are expected before the stable rollout.

In a forum post, Garmin confirmed that users enrolled in the Beta Program for compatible models will receive the update over-the-air in the coming days. The 15.25 changelog includes improvements such as a new sunrise/sunset data screen, additional motorsport settings, and multiple crash fixes.

Please see the changelog below for the full list of changes between Beta Versions 15.24 and 15.25:

    • Added Auto Pause Setting in Motorsport Activities.
    • Added New Dedicated Sunrise/Sunset Data Screen in Activities.
    • Fixed Behavior Exiting Post Activity Summary Page.
    • Fixed CIQ Watch Faces Displaying Sensitive Data when Device is Locked.
    • Fixed Incorrect Highligted Setting Text in Apnea Dive.
    • Fixed Incorrect Rear Apex LED Color on Tactix.
    • Fixed Layout for Sensor Multi-Components List.
    • Fixed Potential Crash on Anchor Map.
    • Fixed Potential Crash on Apnea Surface Map.
    • Fixed Potential Crash on Boot Caused by the Race Calendar.
    • Fixed Potential Crash on End of Fishing Timer.
    • Fixed Turn Alerts Appearing when Not Navigating.
