Huawei has confirmed plans to release its Watch Ultimate Design Royal Gold Edition in markets outside China, extending the availability of its high-end smartwatch after its domestic launch in late November. The device was recently displayed at a Huawei event in Dubai held alongside the launch of the Mate X7 smartphone, marking its first major international appearance.
The company describes the smartwatch as “a crown jewel on the wrist,” underscoring its focus on premium materials and craftsmanship. The model features a predominantly purple design with a 12-sided ceramic bezel, sapphire glass protection and decorative elements made from 18K and 24K gold.

The Watch Ultimate Design Royal Gold Edition includes a 1.5-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display with up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness, along with features such as eSIM calling with noise cancellation, local music storage, contactless payments and smart gesture support. It also offers GPS navigation, region-specific golf course modes and advanced diving capabilities, including water resistance to 150 metres and sonar-based underwater communication.
