The next entry in the long-running WWE 2K video game series could be released as early as March, according to a report from a well-known industry leaker, as fans await official confirmation from publisher 2K.
Billbil-kun, who has previously disclosed accurate details about several game launches, said WWE 2K26 is expected to debut on Friday, March 13, aligning with the franchise’s traditional early-year release schedule. The series has followed a near-annual launch cycle in recent years.
The report indicates that physical editions are planned for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch 2, although the Switch 2 version is expected to be sold as a code-in-a-box rather than on a physical cartridge. Digital versions are said to be planned for PC as well as all three current-generation consoles.
It remains unclear whether WWE 2K26 will also be released on older hardware such as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. According to the report, there is currently no data linking the game to last-generation consoles, which could signal a shift toward focusing exclusively on newer systems.

Pre-orders are expected to open on Jan. 30, the same day developers have teased a full reveal of the game. The report also suggested that Triple H could feature on the cover of the Standard Edition, though it cautioned that this detail has yet to be confirmed.
