Logitech has begun shipping its G Pro X2 Superstrike gaming mouse, introducing a high-end model that replaces traditional mechanical switches with an inductive button system designed to offer adjustable actuation and haptic feedback.

The mouse, first announced in September, is now available through Amazon and Logitech’s online store for $179.99. It is currently offered in a white finish with black buttons. Logitech positions the device as a flagship product, citing its lightweight 61-gram design, 44,000 DPI Hero 2 sensor and wireless polling rate of 8,000 Hz via the included Lightspeed USB dongle.

Central to the new model is what Logitech calls its “Haptic Inductive Trigger System (HITS).” Instead of mechanical micro-switches, the left and right buttons use an inductive mechanism that detects how far a button is pressed. Click feedback is generated by a vibration motor, with six adjustable levels to simulate different click feels.

Logitech said the system allows users to freely adjust actuation and reset points through companion software, potentially reducing click latency. The company described the technology as a “breakthrough” for gaming mice and said it can cut click latency by up to 30 milliseconds.

The G Pro X2 Superstrike is compatible with Windows and macOS and includes a built-in battery rated for up to 90 hours of use. It also supports Logitech’s optional Powerplay wireless charging system and is advertised with a maximum acceleration of 88 G and tracking speeds of up to 888 inches per second.
