Google Releases Switch to Android App on App Store

Google released the Switch to application on the App Store, see what it does. Google makes an application that is not in the App Store to move from devices to Android.

The development of an application called Switch to Android has actually been going on since last year. The application has now been available since Monday (11/4) on the App Store in a number of global markets.

This app was created to make it easier to manage transitions between mobile platforms. Switch to Android from Google helps users migrate contacts, calendar, photos and videos to their new Android phone.

Unfortunately, this application cannot help migrating user applications from iPhone to Android like data. This is probably due to the limitations of third-party applications that the user can access on the user’s device.

This application to move data from iPhone to Android instructs users to turn off Apple’s iMessage. The goal is to get text messages on their new device and connect them with iCloud. As well as to migrate their photo and video library to Android.

However, the company has not officially announced the launch of this app. Based on monitoring, the Switch to Android application is not currently available on the App Store.

However, the application can only be found when clicking on a link or links that are directly available. Switch to Android can already run on iPhone after downloading the link. After the user downloads, the application will ask for permission first so that the data on the iPhone can move to the Android device.

iPhone users simply scan the QR code on their new Android device and follow the instructions to select the data they want to transfer. This data includes contacts, calendars, photos, and videos. After that, users are required to disable the iPhone’s default instant messaging application, iMessage.

Through this link, you no longer need to bother using a cable that connects your iPhone to Android. “The Switch to from Google helps you quickly and safely move your most important types of data,” reads the description of the Switch to Android app on the App Store. “For example, photos, videos, contacts, and calendar events to a new Android device without the hassle of cables,” he continued. Meanwhile, Apple has already created an application to move data from Android to with the name ‘Move to iOS’.
