After hearing news and design leaks from Huawei‘s latest TWS, the company has finally officially confirmed that its newest FreeBuds Pro 2 will be coming to the Chinese market starting July 27, 2022.
Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2 is also the first TWS to have HWA or Hi-Res Wireless Audio certification. The new standard for Wireless Audio was developed by the China Electronic Audio Industry Association and China Electronics Technology Standardization Institute, and was officially presented on July 13 for use in various domestic and foreign business audio brands.
This HWA certification will be listed on the sales box for the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2.
While the specifications, TWS will weigh 5.9 grams for each earbud using three mics and 11mm drivers with a frequency response of 14 Hz to 40 kHz. TWS has Bluetooth 5.2 support as well as LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs.
TWS features noise reduction of up to 47dB, is able to detect the surrounding environment to process audio automatically, and is claimed to have a battery life of up to 30 hours of use. Additionally, the TWS will have an IP54 rating and will likely retail for $200.
