Samsung is rumored to be holding a Galaxy Unpacked event in August. At this event, Samsung is expected to showcase the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, alongside the next generation of foldable phones dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Flip 4 and Galaxy Fold 4.
Now, ahead of the launch event, 91mobiles has revealed what is supposedly the first official image of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 featuring a side view and design.
Through that render, we can see that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 doesn’t come with many changes. However, it appears that the device has bigger buttons, a more prominent camera module, and an overall thicker body, when compared to the current generation Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3.
Thicker buttons could be a stylish choice, but the thicker design is likely due to the previously rumored battery upgrade.
Reporting from Gizmochina (16/7), so far the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is rumored to be coming with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen. The screen supports a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The phone will also have a secondary display on the outside featuring a 2.1-inch Super AMOLED panel.
Inside, the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The battery pack is rumored to have a capacity of 3,700 mAh and will offer support for 25W fast charging.
For photography, this phone will carry a dual camera configuration on the back consisting of a 12 MP main camera and a 12 MP ultra wide camera. On the front, there may be a 10 MP resolution camera.
