Google is improving the experience of its video conferencing app by adding new features. This feature allows users to live stream meetings to .

This feature was announced after introduced a new anonymity feature for polls and questions. Now, Google is releasing a new feature of live on YouTube, which can create more interactive.

According to a Google report, admins can enable this live streaming feature by navigating to the meeting Activities panel and selecting “Live streaming.” Then, select the YouTube channel you want to link to the meeting, so you can broadcast it live.

Google explains that live broadcasts are “useful in situations where you want to present information to a larger audience outside your organization, giving them the opportunity to pause and replay as needed, or view the presentation at a later time.”

Before you can broadcast a meeting from Meet, the channel must be approved by Google first. In addition, only hosts and co-hosts can enable this feature. If that option is off, then anyone attending the meeting can go live.

This new feature will be rolled out gradually. The first stage is “quick release”, by launching to select domains within three days, starting from 21 July. The second stage is for domains under a phased “scheduled release” which may take up to 15 days starting July 25.
