Alienware launches two new gaming monitors, these come with a slimmer design and features that are perfect for high-speed gaming. The 25-inch model offers a 360Hz variable refresh rate and the 27-inch model can achieve a 280Hz refresh rate with the Quad HD option. The new monitor also features a sliding headset mount for placing headphones.
The new Alienware gaming monitors have a smaller footprint and have been optimized to give gamers more desk space. The 25-inch model (AW1523HF) has an attractive matte black plastic design. This gaming monitor has a 1080p Full HD IPS display with Vesa AdaptiveSync and HDR 10 support.
Meanwhile the 27-inch model (AW2723DF) has DisplayHDR 600 certification, full sRGB color gamut, and DCI-P3 color spectrum. This visual tool also offers Creator Mode options and high color accuracy for editing photos and videos. Its IPS panel includes Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro.
The new gaming monitor has a similar connectivity architecture including two HDMI 2.0 ports, USB-B 3.2 Gen 1 upstream, and four downstream USB-A ports. There are also line-out and headphone jacks, as well as a DisplayPort 1.4 port. To adjust the OSD of the monitor, there is a Joystick control.
Both monitor models don’t have USB-C connectivity, so they can’t be used as a laptop docking station. This model also lacks an external power adapter and overall, this monitor offers basic PC gaming support.
For the 25-inch model, the price tag is $500. While the 27-inch model is priced at USD650.
