Samsung is rumored to be releasing its newest Galaxy S series in early 2022. This flagship device is said to be releasing in February, like the previous version of the Galaxy S series.

Ahead of its launch, there were many leaked information that burst to the public surface.

In addition to the appearance, design, and performance, the latest leak about the Galaxy S22 is about the mention of the name of this device. according Gizmochina, Monday (12/13/2021), the Galaxy S22 Ultra is rumored to be released under the name Samsung Galaxy S22 Note.

This is not without reason, but based on information on the official Samsung website that was revealed. This information was first discovered by tipster Snoopy.

A Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-S908U has previously been spotted on the support page on the Samsung website in China. However, it should be noted that the device has not yet been registered with its name, and only shows the model number.

If the information regarding the naming is correct, this will be interesting. The reason is, the most flagship devices from the Galaxy S series usually carry the name ‘Ultra’ but are now ‘Note’.

Samsung had previously announced that it would not release the Galaxy Note series in 2021, there was even news that the company was shutting down the Galaxy Note series.

Tipster Snoopy also claims that Samsung has started production of its upcoming flagship Galaxy S series smartphone (Galaxy S22 Ultra or Galaxy S22 Note) and is shipping thousands of components every day.

Galaxy S22 Ultra Performance

Information about the Galaxy S22 Ultra aka Galaxy S22 Note is also more complete with leaks on the Geekbench benchmark platform. This benchmarks page reveals the benchmark scores as well as some key specifications.

Devices with model number SM-S908N may be a domestic product (South Korea) while devices with model number SM-908U may be released for other markets.

As in previous years, the device will be powered by two types of chipsets, namely the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 chipset, depending on the market region.

Memory and Price

In addition, based on the latest leaks, the Galaxy S22 Ultra aka Galaxy S22 Note is claimed to have two models, namely 12GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage space. In addition, there will also be a 16GB RAM model with 512GB of storage space.

Not only that, there have been leaks that the Galaxy S22 Ultra or Galaxy S22 Note will be released in Dark Red, Black, and White color options. However, a number of reports also mention, there is a new color option, namely Green.

For the price, according to a report, the device will start at USD 799
