Apple Difficult to Meet Demand Until Q3 2022 Due to Supply Chain Issues

Apple is one of the world’s leading companies. especially in technology. Various kinds of products have been produced and marketed all over the world.

But over time, Apple did not always produce its products smoothly. Apple often encounters obstacles that cause the production of its products to be disrupted.

As recently happened, the production of Apple products is reportedly experiencing disruptions. According to Apple’s CFO Luca Maestri (quoted via MacRumors), the disruption in the production of Apple products this time was caused by the lockdown situation in China.

As is known, China is currently still implementing a lockdown due to the high rate of transmission of the COVID-19 virus. Several Apple supplier factories in China were also affected by the lockdown, so their production was not optimal.

This condition is further exacerbated by the scarcity of materials. This scarcity has actually occurred since the last few years, but has not been resolved until now.

Problems in the production itself will affect sales of Apple products. The number of supply or supply of Apple product units that can be produced is not proportional to the incoming demand.

As reported in the second quarter (Q2) 2022, Apple is struggling to meet the demand for , , and Mac purchases from buyers.

This problem is predicted to continue in the third quarter (Q3) 2022, even though the condition is getting worse. For now, Apple’s products whose supply has been disrupted are the iPad and Pro series, the highest.

Apple CEO, Tim Cook, said that in the future the production of all Apple products will also be affected. This will have an impact on the amount of revenue received by Apple in the June 2022 quarter.
