Start-up Brave is preparing to launch its Ark 2-in-1 Android tablet, positioning the device as a productivity-focused alternative to premium tablets by combining a high-refresh display, a large battery and support for keyboard and stylus accessories.
The Ark 2-in-1 comes as Android tablet makers gradually begin adopting newer Qualcomm processors. Brave confirmed the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, alongside 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of expandable storage, placing it among the more powerful Android tablets currently announced.

According to details published on the company’s website, the tablet features a 12.95-inch IPS display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, 2.8K resolution and peak brightness of 700 nits, housed in a body measuring 7.6 mm thick. Brave said the device also includes a 14,550 mAh battery, aiming to support extended use in both tablet and laptop-style configurations.
The company is also emphasizing software features designed for productivity, including a dedicated desktop mode that allows the Ark 2-in-1 to connect to an external monitor via its USB Type-C port. Brave said the device is intended to deliver a flexible setup similar to detachable PCs running desktop operating systems.

Brave said sales of the Ark 2-in-1 will begin at 06:30 UTC on Feb. 6, with initial availability limited to Amazon India. The company has not yet disclosed plans for wider international distribution.
