Dell offers intelligent software called Dell Optimizer which is capable of supporting Dell personal computers (PCs). This makes for a more collaborative but also personalized work experience.
Dell Optimizer is also equipped with new capabilities, namely improving the quality of the experience of today’s hybrid workforce. As more and more people work from various locations, they have to deal with rising privacy risks, and have to be able to deal with other distractions.
The three main features of the Dell Optimizer as quoted from Antara are privacy, connectivity, and collaboration.
In terms of privacy with the full suite of new Intelligent Privacy features, users can hide sensitive information on the screen if an intruder is detected.
The PC screen can also dim automatically when the user takes their eyes off the screen to protect data and save power.
Then in terms of connectivity, Dell Optimizer provides simultaneous multi-network connections that allow users to connect to two wired or wireless networks at once for faster data transfers and downloads. Dell Optimizer also reduces buffering and latency by up to 30 percent.
Finally on the collaboration side, Dell Optimizer is equipped with a “neural-noise cancellation” feature which is better for detecting the environment in which someone is working.
This feature is also able to reduce the background noise of the surrounding environment which is unwanted by the user and the other person while on a call.
The management of the Dell Optimizer is also improved by introducing a modular installation. Users and IT admins can now flexibly choose which features to install.
