Garmin has begun rolling out a new stable software update to its Forerunner 570 and Forerunner 970 smartwatches, continuing a series of incremental updates for its sports-focused wearables.
Software version 15.52 follows the earlier version 15.33 update released about a month ago, which introduced minor refinements and bug fixes. The latest release is similarly limited in scope, with Garmin saying it includes general improvements and issue resolutions without providing detailed technical explanations.

According to the release notes shared by the company, the update includes fixes and small enhancements, as well as internal changes. Garmin said it has made adjustments that “support manufacturing,” a description that suggests the changes are unlikely to have a direct impact on the user experience.
In a post on the Garmin forum, a company representative said version 15.52 has so far been delivered to at least 50% of users of the Forerunner 570 and Forerunner 970 models. The company did not provide a timeline for when the rollout will be completed for all users.

Garmin said users who have access to the update can install it manually through the system settings on their devices. The Forerunner 570 and 970 have also recently received a separate beta update, version 16.14, which introduced improvements to the Morning Report feature for a limited group of users.
