Instagram announced a new feature to prevent your account from being hacked. This feature is an update of ‘Security Checkup’ which will be being tested for users around the world.
Security Checkup will show you how to secure your account through the ‘Request help from friends’ feature.
Reports from Techcrunch, Instagram is testing a way for users to ask their friends to confirm their identity in order to log back in after being hacked.

Before requesting verification, you must first enter your password. After that, select two friends on Instagram who will confirm your identity. When you send a request for help, the user must respond within 24 hours. If both friends confirm your identity within 24 hours, you will be able to create a new password.
Otherwise, you get another chance to choose two different friends. Instagram says it will be sharing more about this security feature soon. In addition, Instagram is also setting up a trial of content subscriptions in the United States.

Just like TikTok and Twitter, content creators on Instagram can later label their content with paid status. Creators can set their own prices to access their exclusive content. Paid subscribers will also be marked with a special badge, which distinguishes them from non-paid users in the comments.
