“We’re seeing a lot of interesting apps, such as NFT being used to help manage a community of like-minded people; enabling fundraising for creators; helping creators print and sell their work in a verifiable way that also gives them a profit for after-sales,” said a YouTube spokesperson. , as quoted from TechCrunch.

Mohan said creators could use NFT as an opportunity to get closer to their audience. For example, fans can own photos, videos, or artwork from their favorite creators and prove ownership.
Other features that Mohan mentioned in the blog will be related to Shopping. YouTube will introduce new features such as the option to shop directly from videos, Live Shopping, and more shopping opportunities across apps.
YouTube will also be experimenting with livestreaming features. One of them is by releasing the Collaboration feature, where creators can livestream and interact simultaneously.
