In a post on Weibo, Xiaomi revealed a new battery technology that it is working on. The technology is expected to be available next year and the first mass production of the battery will start in the second half of 2022.
Based on the translation of the information in Chinese, GSM ARENA wrote that Xiaomi was able to increase the silicon content in a battery by about three times. The end is the storage capacity that becomes more efficient.
In the same measure, Xiaomi’s new battery can load capacity in milliampere hours which is 10 percent larger. That correlates with an additional 100 minutes of usage time after a single charge.
