Lens manufacturer TTArtisan announced the arrival of the 50mm F/2 lens. This lens offers two advantages, namely compact dimensions and low prices.
The 50mm lens is one of the favorite standard lenses for both professional and amateur photographers. The reason is, in a full frame camera, a 50mm lens is able to offer a range of view that is equivalent to the ability of the human eye to see. So, including an all around lens that can be used to take pictures of anything.
The TTArtisan 50mm F/2 comes with a body length of only about 3.5 cm. Almost like a pancake style lens. It is also very light in weight. Only about 200 grams. Save space and can be easily carried anywhere.
Its extremely compact dimensions carry a six-element lens design in five groups. Included, two high-refractive lens elements to control color aberrations. With an F/2 lens aperture, this lens can be relied on in low light conditions. The bokeh effect behind the subject can also be produced, making it ideal for portrait photos. Like other TTArtisan lenses, this lens only supports manual focus control.
The TTArtisan 50mm F/2 will be available for mirrorless cameras with full frame, APS-C and Micro Four Third (MFT) sensors. Currently, what is already on the market first is to mount Nikon Z, Fujifilm X, Canon M and MFT cameras. Full frame cameras will be available for Sony E, Leica L and Canon RF mounts. If interested, the price for the TTArtisan 50mm F/2 is US$69.
