The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 adopts a slightly larger screen, more storage, and slightly better system performance compared to its predecessor.
In terms of specifications, the Galaxy Tab A8 carries a 10.5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:10. This device also comes with 4 speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is powered by a chipset that delivers 10% higher CPU performance and 10% faster GPU. The processor is unofficially revealed to be a Unisoc Tiger T618 chipset built on a 12 nm process featuring 2 Cortex-A75 cores and 6 A55 cores.
Reporting from Gizmochina (16/12), the chipset incorporates a Mali G52 MP2 GPU. It can’t be said for sure whether fans will find it interesting to switch from the Snapdragon 662 chip used in the Galaxy Tab A7 to the Unisoc chip. Although on paper has brought increased performance.

The processor is paired with 3GB RAM / 4GB RAM while storage options are 32GB and 64GB. There is a MicroSD slot for memory expansion. There is also a 5 MP camera on the front and an 8 MP rear camera. Other features include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5, 3.5mm audio jack, USB 2.0 port, and more.
The battery capacity is 7,040 mAh with support for 15W fast charging, but the tablet ships with a 7.5W charger. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 will be available in Pink Gold, and a combination of Gray and Silver. The price for the tablet is 230 euros
