Some Apple iPhone 13 users have complained that their phone screen turns pink or purple. Even after doing a factory reset and installing updates, it still doesn’t work.
This screen-related case on the iPhone 13 seems to be happening a lot in China, with complaints pouring in on platforms like Weibo. However, it turns out that China is not the only region affected. There are also reports from other regions regarding the same case. Reporting from Gizmochina (22/1), the pink screen problem can also be accompanied by lag disorders, crashes, automatic restarts, and other problems.
This problem also doesn’t appear to be permanent and may come and go on its own. Another noteworthy characteristic is that when the screen turns pink, the status bar icons and other information are usually constantly visible.
A report by @BossLianbo on Weibo informed that Apple’s official customer service said it was not a hardware problem and recommended updating the system as a workaround. Netizens have also reported that Apple’s customer service advises updating all apps to the latest version to rule out incompatibility between apps from the iOS version.
But if nothing else helps, then Apple seems to be offering a replacement, as said in the case of a member of the Apple community forum.
So far, the pink screen issue doesn’t seem to differentiate the models as reports of the issue have surfaced from users of the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and even iPhone 13 Pro max, suggesting that it could affect the entire 2021 lineup.
