Acer Predator Helios 500, Gaming Laptop with 120Hz 4K mini LED display, Intel 11th-gen i9 processor and GeForce RTX 3080

Acer itself has just launched the Predator Helios 500, as its best premium offering. The claim itself is quite high, where the , aka suitable for all needs.

The specifications of the Predator Helios 500 can indeed be juxtaposed with the latest sophisticated desktops. The performance itself is supported by the latest generation chip from Intel, namely the Core i9-11980HK with 8 cores & 16 threads. Combined with the NVIDIA RTX 3080 GPU, the speed can be increased by pressing the special turbo button. And to be suitable for content creators, the screen specifications are also the best.

It has dimensions of 17.3 inches, the panel uses Mini LED plus Quantum Dots material, providing high resolution up to UHD at a refresh rate of 120Hz. Supported by 512 LED Zones, the screen of the Predator Helios 500 is also VESA HDR1000 certified, and has 100% DCI-P3 color coverage. For non-gaming needs, a keyboard with MagTek Switch mechanical keys which have an optical sensor can function like an analog joystick.

And for consumers who want a gaming laptop with a more portable design, the Predator Triton 500 SE comes with a thinner profile and in a 16-inch screen. The chipset used is an Intel Core i7-11800H, with an RTX 3080 GPU and an option for RAM capacity of up to 64GB DDR4 3200Mhz. Acer claims, the Polarblack IPS panel used has a higher saturation than the OLED panel.

Comes in WQHD resolution, the maximum refresh rate reaches 240Hz. And both the Predator Helios 500 & Triton 500 SE series, both of which are equipped with a cooling system with 5th generation AeroBlade 3D fans, are claimed to be able to flow 55% better air.
